Mood: calm
Listening To: Bowie's 1984 rock musical songs
This is a meme I stole, and filled in about my main character.

1) What is your character's name?
Livia Silva Davidsen

2) How old is he/she?
Early thirties or late twenties.

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
Girl. Well, woman. Y'know.

4) What's his/her race?
Nooot quite sure. Homo Serpentes? Some snake/human hybrid. When she appears in fan fics she will be either some species of demon or a mutant, depending on the fandom >D

Appearance

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
A lot. She's got brownish green scales covering her entire body, yellow slit eyes, a cleaved tongue (though not naturally) and tiny, tiny fangs (hardly larger than human canines).

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
No. But strangely enough people on seem a little scared of her, they don't shove her into a lab and poke and prod her, but she's isn't exactly popular, and was bullied a lot as a kid.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
She's green with a huge bunch of brown dreadlocks.

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?
Suppose so, yeah. In a smoewhat unconventional way, what with being part snake, and not in the Marvel way (i.e., no huge boobs, not an overly humanoid face, not superstar figure).

Personality

1) Temper?
An odd one, yes. She gets very, very upset about small things, or very, very angry or happy or confused, depending on the situation, but she keeps her head cool in dangerous/important situations.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
In the usual, emo 'ZOMG, everyone hates, I iz failure NOOOOES' way that happens to everyone. She's learned to cope, though, by watching comedy.

3) Leader or Follower?
Follower, I'd say, mostly. She can take control in situations where she feels safe, but in the great unknown, and also socially, she's not your best bet.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
I really couldn't tell you. She's... I don't want to say complicated, it sounds too cliché. She's nice, cynical, idealistic, sarcastic, caring, cold, funny, pathetic, strange, evading, shy, outspoken... It all depends on the moment.

History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Well, more or less. Her mother, whom she doesn't know, and a father, who never cared that much for her. Not that he was particularly mean or beat her or anything, he was just a bit distant. He seemed to her more of an appointed caretaker, there to make sure she was alright, but not to get too involved personally. He married again when she was four, and little Livia gained a mother who didn't much care for her, and usualy avoided contact with her. This somewhat unpleasing step-mother was however remedied by her son, whom Livia immediatly liked. He is a year younger than her, and they became the best of friends. He was always very protective of her, even though she was his big sister, so after going through a science fiction phase she dubbed him Big Brother. They were best friends through most of their childhoods, because he, being the brother of 'the snake freak', he was somewhat of a loner, too. She occasionally felt rather guilty for, as she thought of it, ruining his social life, but after years and years of his reassurance that she was completely wrong, she has stopped worrying about it. Currently she hasn't heard from him in a year or two, though, and she doesn't know in what city he lives.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
On her own and on her own. She lives with her boss, as he likes to call himself, in an apartment he ...took over from a nice little old lady who sadly died. Ahem.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
A few. Most notably when she was ten, and some boys who thought they could make the little freak even more snake-like held her, while on of them cut the outmost inch of her tongue in too, making her much more authentic, as they said.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Just being a kid and hanging out with her brother, not worrying about the judgemental world or overhanging dangers.

Romance

1) Single?
Affirmative, mistress.

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Not really. Her appearance tends to scare guys away.

3) Virgin?
Nope. (what's sex got to do with romance, anyway?)

4) Does your character like flirting?
She does, strangey enough, but only for fun, and only with people she's comfortable with. So no, essentially.

Symbolism

1) What animal would you accociate your OC with?
...Snake? But personality-wise  say she's more of a dog. Very loyal to those she likes, and wary of others. Has a tendency to hiss at people she doesn't like. She also very much resents the idea of snakes as untrustworthy creatures. When has a snake ever betrayed you?

2) Musical Instument?
No.

3) Element?
Earth...

4) Planet?
Betelgeuse 7

Showing the Love

1) Do you draw your character?
Well, she is one of the main characters in my comic and fun to doodle, so yeah

2) Do you write about him/her?
Again with the main character in comic.

3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs?
Not so far.

4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC?
Uhm... I gave her a hug.

RANDOMIZE!

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
Yes. Arson.

2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
1. She is unlikely to complain if something is wrong, which according to surveys means she's more like to die than hypocondriacs. Also it can lead to people using her, and has done so in the past, as she won't tell them wha's wrong without getting a peculiar feeling of bothering them intesly.
2. She has issues with intimacy, and tends to push people away, never opening up that much or directly seeking friendship. She prefers to be approached rather than to approach, which with her looks is the best mix.
3. She is mainly cold blooded, and if left in a very cold place for too long, she will fall asleep and eventually freeze to death, thus her heating rices are high. This wasn't what you wanted, was it? Well, alright, then. she always expects the worst from others. Not because she thinksill of them, it has just been beaten into her by too many bullies that no ne would be nice to her without an ultimate goal, though she tries to ignore these thougths and accept a good thing when offered.

3) Strengths?
She's intelligent, occasionally resourceful, imaginative, friendly, cunning, caring, loyal, and can survive solely on rats, spit poison and bend her spine to the point of ridiculousness.

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
Not really. She thinks the smell of ciggarettes is poisonous, and alcohol does not mix well with her anatomy.

5) What's one quirk about your him/her?
Every time she meets and animal she insists on greeting them just as she would a human, due to her belief that all creatures are equal except spiders, rats and mosquitos, and should be treated as such without patronization.

6) Does your character have any phobias?
Yes. Agliophobia (the fear of pain), and automatonophobia (fear of ventriquilist dummies, anamatronics, robots and intelligent machines trying to steal her money), and fear of jars.

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
Mistreat her brother or a close friend of hers (Not that she has many), kill a snake or dog or any animal she likes)

8) Does your OC like chickens?
Yes, marinated, baked in the oven with potatoes and a nice sauce.

The Final Question

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
Oh, we get along. Se's a bit upset about her past and present, though, and wants me to tell her who and possibly what her mother was.

Bio
Was convinced to come here by someone I know who was on dA, and it seems nice here, though the default colour backround is making me near-epileptic.

I do artsy stuff, and not only in the shape of photoshop drawings. I just like those. And paintings don't scan well.

...I like tea...
